blinking cursor and stark white
that makes me close my eyes

when i do
i feel the ants
in the sockets
building an ant monument
to stay

(writer's block is unrealistic)
the ideas are there
always there
but how do i fill the page
transform nothing into something
why risk
a readthrough when it's all over
that only brings tears
