under the whether?

under the whether?

please do not say goodbye until the moon sets
i want to walk with you
take in the night through my pores

the lakeshore aches
because the waves miss the shore
winter comes too soon
and frozen water cracks underfoot

but still i can make snow angels
in the dust
remember secrets that you never told
and whisper them to the stars

Stunning and unusual descriptions. I like the ache of the lakeshore. Magic!

I, too, adored the lines that M.Shahin has quoted above. ^_^

Reading past posts, I have thoroughly enjoyed the time spent here (especially as regards the pieces "Under a Gunmental Sky" and "Lips of Sin").

Cheers.

Thank you both for your wonderful comments! Knowing that people enjoy my writing makes me excited to write more. Perhaps I'll write another poem now.
